Because Saving Paws Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization, we rely on our volunteers and the generosity of people in our community to keep our animals warm, safe and healthy. 100% of all donations go directly to the care of the animals.

Which is why fundraising events and community outreach programs are so vital to our organization. Please check back here often for events within the community that we will be attending or holding for the benefit of the animals.

The Animal Rescue Site is hosting a special challenge for eligible Petfinder.com member shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $20,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other grants to rescue groups with the most votes — a total of $100,000 in grants for animal welfare organizations.

July 4, 2009 - Adoption Event at Blockbuster!

Please join us at Blockbuster (corner of Richmond St and Northland in Appleton) for a celebration in appreciation of all of their customers. Saving Paws will have a table with adoptable pets, apparel, and volunteering information. Blockbuster will be having a brat fry, team members of The Force to sign autographs, and plenty more!!

July 17, 2009 -Rock and Brats for a Great Cause! 10am-10pm

Come out and join us at Houdini Plaza in downtown Appleton for a brat fry that will include an amazing band, Force of Habit. There will be great food, great music, raffles (including Timber Rattlers tickets), and merchanise to buy. All proceeds will go toward caring for the animals in our care. More details to come.

July 23, 2009 - Market on Kensington Brat Fry! 4pm

Please join us for a brat fry at the Market on Kensington on Thurs., July 23 where there will also be a farmer's market area. It will be across from the Best Buy / Office Max / Home Depot strip mall off of 441 and Calumet Ave in Appleton.

August 1, 2009 - VW Car Show 8am - 5pm!

Please join Saving Paws at the NWVC 10th Annual All Volkswagen Car Show. Saving Paws will have a tent and be selling brats, hamburgers, etc.

August 15 & 16, 2009 - Valley Pet Expo!

Dec. 5, 2009 - Christmas Miracle Event 6pm-midnight!

Come help us celebrate another year of saving pets by attending our Saving Paws Christmas Miracle Event. The event will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Paper Valley Hotel in downtown Appleton.
