Kody's Fund
Please help us help special needs dogs like Kody by contributing to Kody's Fund.

Kody before surgery

Kody after surgery |
Kody is a dog we rescued from death row at a kill shelter.
When Kody came to us, he had urgent medical needs, including severe tissue damage on two areas of his tail, which led to a partial tail amputation. The damage was caused by being kept in a kennel that was too small. He came to us with duck tape on his tail.
Kody also had a cyst on his head, was extremely underweight, was being treated for anaplasmosis, and needed to be neutered.
Thanks to generous Saving Paws supporters, we were able to raise the funds for Kody's surgeries and care, and he has now been adopted into a loving new home.
However, there are more dogs out there just like Kody. We will continue to raise much-needed money through Kody's fund, and all money raised will go directly to the care of homeless, abandoned, abused and injured dogs in our care. |

Little Things to Make a Big Difference
* Donate every time you search the Internet! Simply select
Saving Paws Animal Rescue as your charity on www.goodsearch.com and we will get a penny for every search you do! How easy and fun!
* Give-a-Bowl! Visit www.giveabowl.com to download a $4 coupon for Purina pet food. Select Saving Paws as your recipient, and we will get $1 for every coupon redeemed!
* Shop online for homeless pets! www.iGive.com includes nearly 700 online stores - including retailers like Barnes & Noble, Gap and Best Buy - and each give up to 26% of your purchase to Saving Paws if you shop through the www.iGive.com/SPAWS Web site.
* Collect aluminum cans! Then drop them off at Bee J Enterprises in Appleton, and they will donate the proceeds to Saving Paws. Directions: From Hwy 41, take Wisconsin Ave west and turn right by PDQ carwash (by the Fox River Mall). BJ Enterprises is located just past Casaloma Dr. on the left side at 4845 W Greenville Dr. Their phone is 733-2140.
*Donate used cell phones at the shelter. Simply collect old cell phones from family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, or your place of work (with permission of course) and turn them in to Saving Paws. We get paid for every phone we collect.
*Hold a rummage sale and donate a portion or all of the proceeds to Saving Paws. Contact your friends and family for donations and advertise your sale in the local papers' non-profit events and in the advertising section. Let us know about your event and we'll even provide volunteers to help at the sale, informational items to display at a table to promote Saving Paws and our mission, and maybe even some of our adoptable pets to tug at the heartstrings of the animal lover in all of us.
*Many employers offer gift-matching and other community support programs. Check with your employer to see what they have to offer. Some recent employer donations to Saving Paws include a company that held 'Jean Day' and donated $149. Another company donated $1000 because of the number of hours one of our volunteers contributed to Saving Paws. One company even donates dollar for dollar matches for every employees' donation!
*Donate small items we can sell on eBay. Items can either be donated at the shelter or email our Volunteer Coordinator Jill at savingpawsvolunteers@hotmail.com and she will arrange for pick-up.
The items will be listed on E-bay by one of our volunteers and 100% of the sale will be donated to Saving Paws. (Please, no clothes or rummage sale items). Or list your items yourself and donate whatever percentage you choose to Saving Paws.
*Sell items on eBay through MissionFish. Whether you're a new or seasoned seller, it's easy to do. Any seller can donate to a nonprofit while listing an item on eBay. Give as little as 10% or as much as 100% from anything you sell ($5 minimum donation required).
