The Dog Building is Complete...But that's not the End!
Thanks to help from many community business as well as donators and people like you, we have completed our dog building and have moved in!
As with many large projects, especially those related to construction, it took us longer than we would have liked but we're very happy with how its turned out and now in 2024, we're making the finishing touches and making other much-needed updates on the property (there are some exciting updates in progress in the cat building and in our parking lot!).

Your donations and engagement are what made the building possible. We've already had many dogs and puppies go through the building to their forever homes and we look forward to being able to help many more.

Cat Building (2024 - ?)
Before we started work - you can see that the roof is a bit worse for wear and so are the posts holding up our catio. It's still a great place for the kitties to see more of the outside but the structural problems were becoming concerning. With large help of a donation in memory of Carol Sandhofer, we began construction!
Removed the old, torn screens and supports, replacing their footings so that they're more stable. Of course, we made sure to block off the door so that no kitties went missing during this process!
After completing the outside of the building, we opted to pause on interior projects so that we could handle all of the kittens coming through for kitten season. We expect interior updates to our cat building resume later this year or in 2025!

Garage (2024 - ?)
We have a large garage that we're very thankful for - we use it to store things like litter and cages but we also plan to use it in the future for some meeting rooms! Before we can do that though, there's a bit of work to be done...
