How to Schedule a Meet and Greet

Because we are entirely volunteer-run, we do not have regular business hours. That means that in order to do an in-person meeting with one of our wonderful cats, you'll need to schedule an appointment!

To get started with scheduling an appointment, email cats@savingpawswi.com

NOTE: Due to the impact of COVID-19, it's now required to have an approved application prior to a meet and greet being scheduled

Adoption Fees

Adoption fees are considered donations to SavingPaws and are non-refundable. The fees are used to help support the cost of vet treatments, vaccinations, and microchipping so that every cat leaves our care as healthy as possible.

Declaw Policy

We heavily encourage that adopters consider using natural approaches to managing cat scratching behavior (ex: providing scratching posts and keeping nails trimmed) for the health and safety of the cat. If you do still choose to declaw your new furry friend, it's important to know our policy:

Per the terms of our adoption contract, we allow only front paw declaws and only on kittens younger than 10 months of age.

If you declaw all 4 paws of a cat or if you declaw an adult cat, it increases the chances of them having further behavioral problems (ex: not using the litterbox) due to the pain that the surgery leaves them in.

If the cat is declawed outside of the terms outlined above, then your contract is null and void, including losing the ability to return the cat to Saving Paws if you would ever need to rehome them.

Cat Adoption Application

Thank you for your interest in giving one of our cats a forever home! There are 9 steps to the application. To begin, please fill out some information on which kitty caught your attention.

Notice: We are in the process of updating our email addresses! If you receive any emails that end with "savingpawswi.com" instead of "savingpaws.com" (for example, cats@savingpawswi.com and dogs@savingpawswi.com), it's still us!
It will take us a while to update all locations to use the new addresses, so if you see any places that don't match, please be patient and know that we're still monitoring the old addresses as well.
